This course focuses on developing skills to affect myofascial patterns through the mastery of connecting strokes. Students will learn to define the function of these strokes, analyze the sensation of myofascial flow, and identify key patterns throughout the body.
The curriculum includes practical demonstrations for both prone and supine positions, emphasizing proper body mechanics to sustain continuous flow, culminating in the performance of a 45-minute connecting stroke session focused on fascial continuity.
Learning Outcomes:
- Define the purpose and function of connecting strokes within a massage session.
- Analyze the elements and sensation of a myofascial flow.
- Identify common myofascial patterns and lines throughout the body.
- Demonstrate connecting strokes to influence specific myofascial lines in the prone position.
- Demonstrate connecting strokes to influence specific myofascial lines in the supine position.
- Execute proper body mechanics to sustain smooth, continuous connecting strokes.
- Perform a 45-minute connecting stroke flow focusing on fascial continuity.
4 CE hours
This is a live virtual training held via Google Meet from 2pm to 6pm MST.
Your $250 registration includes access for two participants sharing one device. You will practice the hands-on techniques with each other, offer feedback throughout the training, and have opportunities to demonstrate techniques for the instructor.
For this training you will need:
- 1 massage table
- Computer with camera
- Strong internet connection
